Chloe dropped out of college to take care of her three younger siblings after CPS was involved with her mother. She works as an assistant in the local library where she enters into a scavenger hunt to find out more about the young couple who wrote love notes in the margins of some of the library books.

This was such a quick read for me. I was really drawn to the characters and there was a grumpy old next door neighbor (one of my favorite types of characters!) This was part mystery and part romance with deep themes about what makes a family and why choosing to be rooted is not always a bad thing. Loved & would recommend!
