“Enter, friend. I wish you well, but I’ve got to warn you. These ghosts are hungry.”

This is a collection of creepy and unsettling tales based around this late hour when the veil between our world and those of ghostly spirits is at it’s thinnest. Each story brings a dark and terrifying event that leaves the reader shocked and disturbed. Amongst the amazing authors who have contributed this collection a few standouts for me were:

Midnight in the Graveyard is quite a large anthology of horror stories. Clocking in at 408 pages for the paperback and 445 for the kindle version, this is one compilation of stories that will bust any boredom you may have. It almost reads like a whos-who of horror: Kealan Patrick Burke, Alan M. Clark, John Everson, Chad Lutzke, and Glenn Rolfe are just a few of the names gracing the cover. Among them is a bevy of horror newcomers with stories just as exceptional.

Excellent collection of ghost stories. They start off good and just keep getting better.

If you're looking for a Hallowe'en read, this is a good bet!

4.5 I don’t read anthologies very often as they tend to be hit or miss. So I’m pleased with how much I enjoyed this! It contains 25 horror stories featuring ghosts in all shapes and forms, and the majority are compelling and memorable. My picks:
