Después de la desilusión del libro anterior aquí volvió a comprarme la autora. Con tramas interesantes para casi todos los personajes recurrentes del elenco y un caso que no sólo es sangriento sino inesperado.
Me gustó mucho.

Another pageturner which evolved into a bizarre cross between derring do and an action movie!
More secrets, more 2WW setting, close to Hermann Goring and modern day Swedish fascist movement.
I needed to have a rest after the loose cannon of a conclusion.

It's been awhile since I've read a book in this series, which made it tricky... I had to keep up with all of the new characters and remember the old ones. It took about half of the book to feel confident with all of the plot changes. It was intriguing, but I found myself staring at obvious clues that seemed to take forever to come around. I also found that there were some oversights in the mystery that were hard to ignore compared to some of the earlier books.

bought this one at the airport, it was my first Camilla Lacberg mistery and I quite enjoyed it, I could not put it down. Apprently, form other reviwes, it is probably because it is my first book by her, because other readers complain it is always the same formula.

I devoured this book! I couldn't put it down and even dreamt about it. Such an amazing mystery story. I love the way the author ties in every story, how as a reader you can't wait to get to the revelations that are fed little by little to the reader. If you like police/detective stories, this is for you!

As usual, a good scandinavian thriller with a very complex story in the background.
The writer holds a lot of different ties and stories to only reveal at the end how it is all connected. However, she keeps your interest going and there were moments I really had to keep myself from looking further in the book to get some answers right away.
Very enjoyable is the use of the recurring characters. The setting in this series is allways the same place ( little town in Sweden/police office) and a lot happens to the characters connected to the police office. While this is often the case in series, in this series it is a prominent feature. Not only the crime story is interesting, but the evolution of the other characters is a story on its own
