I didn't really think much of acotar, it was meh, a solid 2 or 3 star read. This is 20/10. 6 stars. I devoured this book. The hype is definitely worth it for this book alone.

16+ for sexual content (just too much to name) Swearing, violence and lots of trauma and abuse.

Okay, this book was so slow getting through even if it was the second time. Going through with the dramatized books has been helpful but also traumatizing. So here's to me getting one step closer to finally finishing this series and probably needing therapy due to the *cough* sound effects *cough*.

What the fuck just happened?

I have no words, literally I ended the book and stared at the wall for literally 10 minutes, trying to process everything that happened. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK HAPPENED IN THOSE LAST CHAPTERS.

I knew, they weren't going to be able to stop the king, it was too easy, and I knew for sure Tamlin had to be involved somehow, didn't know he was going to be such a son of a bitch, but we will get to that.

But let's start in the beginning, I was literally pissed as soon as I started reading the book, because of Tamlin obviously and his selfish ways. My god, that man should have stayed with the knife around is heart.

AND LUCIEN, I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU, WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU. YOU WERE MY FAVORITE, HOW COULD YOU DO MY GIRL FEYRE LIKE THAT??? LITERALLY LEAVING HER TO DIE??? YOU WERE DEMOTED FROM YOUR POSITION AS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER.
I have hopes you will have a redemption, or else I myself will lock Elain away from you.

I knew Ianthe wasn't good news, ok, mostly because I accidentally spoiled myself with a fan art, but I had that feeling even before that, and I was right. Fucking bitch.

I was so relieved when Mor appeared to save Feyre from the Spring Court. Literally love her. In the first chapters of the book, my favorites chapters were the ones where Feyre went to the Night Court.
It was a perfect way of showing the truth behind the Court and Rhys in a slow way, let us adapt to him, get to know him, his court and his family.

Speaking of, I loved his family. Mor is just amazing. I really love Amren and how she cares for them all, besides being more "reserved".
I really hope she gets to find her true home in the other world eventually!

Az and Cass are just the perfect balance. And I love them so much, they are my favorite characters, with Feyre and Rhys ofc.

I loved all the time they spent in the Night Court, how we could see the trust being build and with that, the relationship between Feyre with all of them.
The love between her and Rhys is so beautiful, it's really amazing to read something that makes you keep rooting so much for them.
Their love for each other is so pure, the sole purpose of it, being seeing each other happy and the transparency between it, it's too much for my little heart. I was all giggles reading their scenes.

Furthermore, I'm really curious about the relationship between Mor and Az. I reallyyyyyyyyyyyy want to know what is going to happen between them.

I also thought Nesta would end with one of them, my bet in the beginning was between Cass or Lucien, but once Cass and Nesta meet I just knew. Likewise, I think they're mates and Cass already knows it, the moment he stood up for her and swore to protect her in front of the queens, I think he knew then they were mates, curious....

I also suspected Lucien would end up with one of the sisters, I suspected a love triangle between him, Nes and Cass. But I spoiled myself with a fan art of him and Elain, so yeah hahaha
(I have to stop looking for fan art of dresses, people and scenery, I always spoil myself).
Can't wait to see how this bond is going to affect the spring court.

I was right about Rhys, about him knowing she was his mate, I suspected he knew right after Amarantha, when he talked with Feyre in the roof. But he also suspected before, which I also did suspect he did, so I'm glad we got to see that.

OMG, there's so much to talk, I feel like I'm going to forget something. The mating bond between them both, and the way Rhys explained everything to Feyre in the cabin, had me so sljfdsljfhdljfhdsflds. I love him, 100% he's my favorite.

When they went to see the Bone Carver, I think the little boy Feyre saw is their son, we will see about that.

I was really sad with the attack on Velaris and the fact the queens knew about it, I was suspecting it wasn't going to end well. And I have to say, Feyre defending the city with her powers was SO FUCKING BADASS, I LOVE HER.

Feyre grew so much in this book, thanks to her, but mostly thanks to Rhys for never giving up on her, and the rest of the family. My god, I love them so much, I'm too deep in this book I need help.

I feel like Tamlin might become a puppet of Ianthe, because he is dumb enough. Ugh

The sisters becoming Fae was something I was expecting to happen, but I couldn't guess it was this earlier, really thought it would be in 4/5th book, but I'm also glad that happened, and I'm really curious to know how that is going to end up and their evolution to accept what they are now.

AND FINALLY, MISS FEYRE AND HER BRAVERY AND SACRIFICE. CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW THEY MARRIED EACH OTHER AND SHE IS THE HIGH LADY, KDLFDHSKJFHDSFJKSDHFDKSHF I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, PLEASE, I HAVE TEARS IN MY EYES.

Her powers just keep growing, and it is amazing to be able to see the person she is becoming.
Her being a spy is great to them, and I'm curious how things are going to play out.

I have to admit I'm not a fan of plots with a lot of things happening at the same time, so I'm kinda scared I'll get tired of it, here's to hoping I will not, because I've been loving it so far.

And I think that's all for now, will see you in the next one folks!

4⭐️. This book is so much better than the first. I was heavily invested in finishing this… but a little over halfway it dragged just a bit when they used the word “mate” 80 billion times I cringed… then got over it. But the end was amazing. I already borrowed the next book. Can’t wait to keep going.

This may be one of my top books of the year!

I took me a while to get into this series but after hearing good things about it I decided to give it a try and it was completely worth it
