3⭐️! Once I reminded myself that these characters were 16, I enjoyed it a lot! But damn, kids are silly and dramatic, but at least there are characters who acknowledge this!!

I’m not a fan soo many pop culture references in books and this book had a lot but at least there was only one HP reference made in a sorta ~derogatory~ way so at least we’re making progress. Esp. with a trans MC.

this book was amazing, Mason Deaver is a great writer and slowly becoming one of my favorites. As a queer teen, this book was everything I could want in a LGBT romance. This was an amazing book.

This was a let down for me. It was very hard to like the characters alone, never mind understand their liking each other. Very repetitive style as well. The amount of sentences staring with “And,” “But,” or “Because” became frustrating by like page 50.
