Another hit out of the park for Chanel Cleeton! I just love her writing style; it has a way of sucking you into the story so you don’t realize how much you’ve actually read. This one is definitely more plot-heavy and spends less time in character development, and not as much time spent on the historical aspect, but you still learn something new.

I quite liked the mystery, the vintage atmosphere, the glimpse of Cuban politics, and the mystery (again, because of the many secrets that unfold).  In read like classic move, or even more so like a Luz Radio Theater play.  Enjoyed the multiple narrators in the audio book.
Ending wasn’t the best for me; a bit too Titanic like.  But hey the ship sunk and many folks couldn’t escape, so what else are you going to write?

I wanted to like this book more. It just didn't click. Lots of dialogue but nothing that felt natural. Forced. It wraps up nicely at the end, but was not as fun as I anticipated.

One of the best books I've read this year. I really debated if I wanted to give it 5 stars or not, but since I'm really picky about my books, I'll give it a 4.5 stars which it's still a lot for my standards. Really good book, I couldn't put it down and had to read it all together.

I'll definitely gonna read something else from this author.
