Surprising twists

Loving this series and the characters. They're all growing and the surprising twists keep me on the edge of my seat.

Super fast-paced, the story is right there again, and we meet Maverick (who surely is another addition to Aria's merry group of demon-boyfriends). Really liked that on top of everything else, Aria's shadow is starting to act up.

One thing I will say: If you read the whole series in one go, this is where I felt it got a little... much. There are so many twists and turns that it never gets boring, but that also means that if you just read through the books they start to bleed into each other somewhat. I find that enjoyable, but I think a slower read (ie one with breaks?) might not be a bad idea here.

The story remains enjoyable, I love the characters, and the spice is just delicious as always (5/5). I would love to see more of Damon (
though I think this is the one where he shows his, well, demonic double dick option^^ Speaking of sex, I love that this series adds anal sex as just another variety, I feel that one is so often left out...

The only annoying thing remains the miscommunication, ie problems that could be avoided if they all just talked to each other. (They do make a promise of being open for the next book though, so here is hoping.)

What I love about these books is that they start right where the last book finished. It begins and you are right there with everyone, your heart in your throat, your stomach is threatening to fall out of your body. You are also reminded instantly, where the last book finished and you have no idea what's going to happen.

All I want is to adore her, save her, care for her, and I may have brought Hell down on her instead. Fuck!

I love how unpredictable this story is, nothing drags. Nothing is on repeat and it's so fast paced. I'm flying through these books.

It isn't long before Aria finds herself in Hell, brought there by the demon Maverick, Cain's brother and let me tell you I don't like him. I don't he ruined this book for me. I don't like him. Also Lucifer if a piece of work but a well done villain.

Or maybe real life isn't like some cheesy Hallmark movie?"

I am more in love with Cain, Dorian and Elias so so much! They are amazing and I want one of each for Halloween or something haha! There are so many twists and shocks in this book. I never see them coming and I'm living for it. I love the unexpected and I love it when something just gets thrown in my face and I don't know what to think.

ITS THE BEST! I can't wait for next books! Pre-ordered and waiting impatiently haha!

Aria

Seriously. How much can one girl take? She’s been to hell and back. Literally. And now this? And what’s going on with M? New guy in the harem?

Things are changing... for the worst for Aria. She has Maverick's ring still on her finger, and she cannot figure out what he and Lucifer want. Moreover, Sayah is acting weird. When Aria finds herself suddenly in hell, she needs to figure out a way to stop all the chaos going on around her. Thankfully she has Elias, Dorian and Cain who are willing to lay their lives down for her. The book ends with a cliffhanger, and I'm ready to one-click the next book. I need to know what Sayah is and Maverick's plan.

I was kindly provided with an ARC by the author, but I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

To Hell and Back is book four in the Sin Demons series. Aria and her demons come home to a major surprise...the King of Hell is there...for a "visit" or more like...to see what it is they have been hiding from him. It seems that things are about to get ramped up now that they know that Lucifer has his eyes on them, but...things kinda fizzle out until the end.
To Hell and Back is a bit slower-paced and things drift around with this book. I wasn't as engaged in this story as in the previous books. Aria is reunited with her friend...who just recently was being really vile, but it seems that her friend is in some trouble herself. I got annoyed with Aria pretty quickly because she really refused to see sense of how the guys were handling the situation, but things are about to get sticky for them when Aria is taken.
There are some surprises in this book and I have to say that they really pulled me back into the story. I was eager to find out where things were going. This book has some interesting elements to it and so I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
I'm choosing to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Things seem to just drift as I wait for all the dots to connect. It seems that there is more to come and that Aria is going to have her hands full in more ways than one.

Not Bad, but it felt like filler

For lack of a better phrase, this felt like a filler book. A way to connect plots from the previous story to the next. I anticipated more action, especially with her being in Hell for a short time, but the ending was the best part. Overall, not terrible, I just wish there’d been a little more drama. Even the fact she kinda-sorta cheated wasn’t really addressed.
