It was amazing and so emotional. It was a amazing experience to see the different political decisions and societies behaviour. There is no other better way to summarize what happened in forty years and also to give the view of different people in different positions. Unlike the two previous books it had no sign of slowing it kept moving on and on and on. It is very emotional when I neared the end of the book after seeing how three generations of five families lived, and there is no continuation. Also the characters of the Fall of Giants are dying on by one. I am not a crying type(only teary eyed) for emotional scenes in the book but this trilogy made me cry after completing as I know that it the show ends here. I don't know how many more days I am going to be dreaming about these things.

I don’t think I’ve ever eye-rolled at a book this much, but the sheer number of times a woman was referred to as ‘sexy’ and her nipples described in detail just to service the male characters’ horniness was honestly funny. Often it’s an enjoyable step back in time, but by the end of the book I was finishing it more out of duty than out of enjoyment.
