My mom thought it didn't make sense.
I thought it was one of the best novels I've read in a while.

You pick your own.

I read every single word in this book and I have no idea what it was about.

As someone whose favorite movie is Inception, the unusual format of this book worked for me. Beyond the unique writing style, what made this novel really stellar was how connected I felt to each character. As a reader following the narrator along his investigation of the events leading up to Samuel's death, we know that no one he interviews is truly reliable, and that's what makes them feel real.

A book that challenges the format as well as the idea of the sender and receiver, and through this format keeps the reader in the dark and wondering about several things that goes on... recommended if you want to read something a little different.

First half was rather dull (and difficult to understand who was talking since I listened to the audiobook). The secpnd half was amazing!
