This was adorable! Exactly what I wanted in a romantic comedy! To be honest I got it on audible on accident and have been sitting on it awhile. I am sad it took me so long it was adorable and heart warming and reminded of my little town!

Not as good as I remember from the first read, very slow and predictable. Pop star in a small town with the town baker who isn’t over a past hurt and they waste time and then are like wait let’s work through all our problems together and quickly. Still cute tho.

Sarah Adams kills it again!! This book was so freakin cute I loved it. One of my favorite things about Sarah Adams is that her stories always contain really great, developed, supporting characters. We don’t just focus on the hero & heroine and call it a day, we get to see who else is important to them and why and what those people think about and dream about. I absolutely loved the supporting characters in this novel, from Noah’s sisters, to the nosy townspeople, to Amelia’s supportive staff and mom. I think the depth Sarah Adams puts into all of her characters bolsters the amazing stories she writes that much more. It makes it so even if you can’t fully relate to the main characters maybe you can relate to their friends or family members (who may even be the star of her next book!). I can never put into words how much I love Sarah Adams’ books, characters, or simply just her as a whole but I very highly recommend When in Rome to everyone, as well as all of her other books.
