Bogged down by the cross-over of it all, but it is cute to see these three interact! Does a good job of selling each of the three despite some hiccups between the various writers having trouble keeping the characters consistent in their attitudes. The individual series do a bad job of letting you know its a crossover and that you should have read something else first when its not in trade format. But its cute like I said so its fine

somewhere between 3.5 and 4
I usually avoid all spider related /spider verse stuff because it is just so much and overwhelming. The strong exception is my undying love for Jessica Drew so I picked this up. I really enjoyed it, I felt I could follow what was going on pretty well without needing to have read Spider Gwen or Silk. Spider-Woman was the strongest part but I enjoyed it overall as well.

A great Spider-verse crossover/team up event. Silk and Spiderwoman of Earth 616 visit Spider-Gwen in Earth 65 for brunch - things soon go down hill from there!
Evil Doppelgangers, Super Villains and some excellent cameos make this a great read.
The events of Spider-Women take place between Spider-Gwen volume 1 (Greater Power) and volume 2 (Weapon Of Choice) and between volume 1 (Sinister) and volume 2 (The Negative) of Silk.

2.5 stars. Meh. I love what little I've read of Cindy, I can't stand Gwen, and Jessica seems cool. Standard superhero fare. You could do better, but you could do a lot worse too.

With two Cindy Moons, a male Jessica Drew and a briefly powerless Gwen Stacy, this dimension switching arc - set between Earth-65 and Earth-616 - gets confusing at points, but the beautiful illustrations and fast-paced writing mean it's impossible not to get swept away in the story anyway.
Seeing Spider-Woman with a child, juggling her responsibilities as a superhero and a mother, made me feel much happier about giving the Dennis Hopeless run focusing on her pregnancy a go, while it's always a delight to read more Silk and Spider-Gwen.
Yay for female empowerment!
