Just like The Ex Hex, this book was fun, emotional, ✨spicy✨ and just an all-round great witchy romance. I think, the only thing that I wasn’t a huge fan of was how fast everything happened in the storyline: there wasn’t much of a romantic build up for an enemies to lovers arc and the unfolding of other events came and went pretty fast too. I felt like at some points I had accidentally missed a chapter when in reality, the plot had just processed so quickly.
Other than that, it was so enjoyable and I loved Gwyn in the first novel as a secondary character so it was great to experience life and love with her in this novel as the main protagonist. Wells also has my heart, but Rhys will always be my no.1 ❤️

Not quite as good as the first book but still a fun read for Halloween! I wish the end had been a bit more developed though, it felt really rushed.

Such a cute read. Quick, easy, and light hearted. I enjoyed this more than 'The Ex Hex', which was a 3/3.25 star read for me. Kiss Curse was just more fun.
I find 'strong independent' characters often come off as bitchy (or assholey) to me, happily that was not the case here.
Gwyn was likeable and relatable. Here 'baby witches' were also fun. Wells was basically my dream grump: British, Welsh actually, stuffy, duty driven, loyal, a bit stuck in the past.
Honestly I just read it yesterday and kind of forgot the plot already, but no matter it was just a fun read.

Thank you Net Galley and Headline for giving me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book much more than the first book, The Ex Hex. This book follows Gwyn, the cousin of Vivi, who owns a shop in Graves Glen that is very successful. Wells, Rhys’ older brother, moves to this town and opens up a shop that sells the same things across from Gwyn’s. This creates a rivalry between the two. One day, a love spell manages to find Gwyn and Wells, and it makes the whole situation complicated. On top of that, Gwyn is losing her magic. This was very well written and perfect for Halloween.

This book was such a fun seasonal read! It’s everything I love about romcoms, with a splash of spice & fantasy witchy vibes. I really enjoyed reading this, which really was no surprise because I loved the ex hex as well. I loved Gwyn & Wells — their banter and relationship was really cute! I also loved the mystery aspect of the book as well. In my opinion, this is a must read for romcom lovers this fall!
