*no spoilers necessarily but does insinuate some things* I mostly enjoyed this book but I'm still mulling over the ending. It was a quick read that kept me entertained and wanting to solve the mystery of the island and it's odd mix of people. I had my theories about the twist but did not crack it. Though while surprising, the twist was a the tiniest bit of an eye roll. And, I don't know if the reader was really given the evidence to support who the kind of person the main character turned out to be. It left me feeling sorry for the wrong person.

This felt dragging and circular but the ending was just SUPERB.

Mysterious thriller. I’ve read many of these and I don’t know why because even if the story is interesting, I hate feeling stressed while reading it. The story is dark and has a lot of twists.
