This was such a cute book. The little moments with Jude and Cardan were so wholesome and marriage suits them well.

Aslog being a recurring character was very interesting.

I also loved the backstory to Cardan as a kid and what he thought of Jude when he "hated" her. I will read again for the cute moments and philosophic stories!

i loved and am so grateful for the extra cardan and jude plot line, they are so cute and the plot was so perfect for them. but personally i found the cardan plots without jude a little boring. i mean i love cardan on his own without jude but i like him so much better as an individual after he met and got to know jude better.

Such fun to be in Cardan’s mind and get a little of his perspective. I’ve adored this world and love the twists, tricks and wittiness all the way through.
