The group deals with many internal struggles within the group. Being locked in the prison has caused Rick and Tyreese to examine each other and debate right and wrong. Tyreese cheating on Carol with Michonne pushed Rick over his edge. The group decides that the stress of leading has weighed too heavy on Rick. They establish a committee to lead, it is Rick, Tyreese, Hershel, and Dale. I believe everything Rick has done for the group has been justified, but I also like this new committee idea. Rick is right, this isnt the world as we used to know it, you have to be able take drastic measures to ensure your safety in this new world.

It was alright, nothing exciting. Lots of arguments and relationship dramas. It's surprising to see how fast its going, only 4 volumes in and its nearly been a year!
The series is progressing. A might bit less action, a little more interpersonal stuff, a bit slower, but not stagnant. Our little zombie infested soap opera continues.
With this volume we get the addition of Michonne, my new favorite kick-ass heroine. And some stupid shit, but since people are, by in large, fairly stupid, emotionally, I'm ok with it.
