This installment of the Walking Dead was just as fantastic as the previous. It was interesting to see the progression of life inside the prison and the relationships of the people within it. I enjoyed the surprise of the governor not being as dead as they had assumed, and the fight at the end was awesome. Mostly I enjoyed seeing certain characters finally be let go. I won't spoil anything, but I did a silent cheer of total happiness at the ending.
Interesting to see how the group dynamic falls apart and corrects itself. Sometimes Kirkman kind of veers into melodrama, but he's great at creating tension and each issue always leaves me wanting more.

The inconsistencies with the continuing story and random actions of the characters have made me decide to quit reading the series. I enjoyed the first season of the TV series and for now will continue to watch it. It diverged quite a bit from the comic books.
