Interesting concept; but I felt like there could have been way more to pull the reader in and keep them engaged. I wanted very badly to put this book as a high rating but for me it just missed its mark and I had to struggle to push through a lot of the book to find few pieces that I enjoyed. There was a lot of dark and heavy without very much good to balance out enough to keep me coming back for more. The ending quote was very powerful and did spark something in my heart, but I yearned for more connection between nearly all the characters in all three storylines. Some things in the story infuriated me and did not come across as "strong women encouraging women" as I expected this book to be.

A slow burning tale of witchcraft and abuse crossing and connecting three lives over time. Captivating in it's gentle pace.
