Big Girls Do It Book Series isn't your normal erotic romance book. I've read a few romance books and I just couldn't get through it. I'm not to sure if it was because I was to young, just didn't like to read, or it was boring. Jasinda brought on a whole new meaning to an Erotic Romance. The way she explained her characters made me feel as if I was there with them. Might sound a little off or weird, but it felt as if I was at the bar with Anna and Jeff, or in the room with Anna and Chase when they were together. These books sucked me in and I just couldn't stop reading them. I HAD to buy the next book, I HAD to wait for Jasinda to release the next book to find out what will happen next. She really does bring life to her characters and makes you fell as if you known them your whole life. Or makes you want to know them and makes you want more.

I am really split with this series.
On the one hand, it is well-structured and well written. The author certainly knows her craft.

But on the other, it was such a tired trope that I felt I could almost write the next pages before I turned them.

I fully accept that, if you're new to erotica, then these are new themes, new experiences, but for many, the dreaded 'been there - done that' takes you away from what is, in all respects a good read.

I must declare an interest - I also write a plus-size series and I have striven to be as honest as possible.

IN SHORT - I like Jasinda's style and ability and will almost certainly try her out again. Maybe I just picked an early series, or they were written for a specific purpose. Whatever the reason. She gets a 4.5 from me for style and ability, but a lot less for taking the easy 'plus-size' route.

Didn't feel like reading women torn between two men and discounting the fact that polyamory exists.

Wow, what a cliffhanger

I’ve got to say, this set was great. I liked the characters and Anna was an interesting character. I liked both Jeff and Chase and I was kind of hoping to see a threesome. But that didn’t happen. Nope, the book ended in the worst possible cliffhanger ever. Although, there is still a little chance of a threesome, everything else is just a mystery. What will happen? I don’t know but I really need to find out!

I am all over the place with these stories. I like that the heroine is fuller figured. I don't like that she's not comfortable with that (except she dresses like she is). I don't like some of the things she does, but they're not necessarily unrealistic. There are some confusing typos (though not too many) and some confusing plot issues. At one point, having arrived in New York, the heroine mentions she should have stayed in Detroit. Detroit? This is somewhere around halfway through the book and I didn't even know it was set in Detroit, and I think I would have noticed since I'm Detroit-adjacent myself (was in Detroit proper as recently as this morning, even.) This ends on a cliffhanger; apparently there are several more installments. I'm not sure about getting them at this point.
