This felt like a buzzfeed article written by someone who knows nothing about depression and who has never experienced any sort of mental illness, instead of a book written by someone with a master’s degree in psychology. This book has some cute calligraphy and artwork and was a very fast and easy read but just had random tips such as ‘painting circles and boxes’, ‘saying yes to everything’, ‘putting a wet washcloth on your forehead and neck’, and ‘making your bed daily’. It didn’t really include anything that I haven’t heard before and I don’t think that it would be helpful for anyone experiencing anything more than occasional, slight disappointment or loneliness.
