Pros:
Pros:
- Very good kink/bdsm spice writing
- The side/supporting characters are interesting
- The magic system is pretty interesting with some fun, unique ideas
Cons:
- The main character is a Gary Stu without much depth and he kind of just likes all different kink things equally with no real preferences or depth
- The story doesn't really start until the last 1/3 of the book. That's mainly because the main character doesn't really have a specific reason for being at the magic school other than "wanting a change of scenery". If there had been a more compelling plot reason up-front then it would have made the magic school progression feel more like there's a point narratively to it than just learning to be a sex wizard for the sake of it.
Overall I did enjoy the book and I'll eventually read the next in the series but it was a bit conflicting for me because the things this book does well, it does quite well and there's just some things holding it back from being amazing. I'm hopeful that things may improve in the second book now that some exposition is out of the way.

this book is out of my usual genre but i enjoyed it more than i expected tbh!
the description i can give is a cozy kink erotica with an interesting, captivating and well thought out kink-based magic system!
i did feel as if the plot became very rushed more towards the end and felt there wasn’t much development. i wish we got to see more build up! i probably will continue on with this series as i still enjoyed the book!

That was definitely one of the better erotica stories I’ve read.
I liked the universe and found the introduction to the world well written. There was no information overload like in other fantasy-esque books I’ve already read.
Starting the chapters with an overview over each school and combining it with the kinks that are explored in it is actually quite clever. So you know what’s coming and can skip if necessary.
The sex scenes were great. I even liked reading about the kinks that are personally not to my tastes. And the queerness was quite welcome.
The main character was unfortunately quite plain, exchangeable and a bit too much of a top-notcher. I wish get would have more characteristics that make him recognisable and individual.
In a few places, I didn’t like that the book was predictable with it mainly introducing all magic schools. But this will probably get better with the next book.
