i don't know what to tell you but this was... quite something (in the best way possible)

did i skip a certain horse chapter? yes

but this book was actually so endearing, i love how much they care about consent and how little they care about gender and how much they care for each other

definitely reading the rest of the series (and thanks for convincing me to read this, remus)

Well this was definitely a different type of magic and the way that it's created and harnessed. I'll be reading book 2 for sure!

Omg I enjoyed this so much!

Reading that this was a fantasy erotica with a kink based magic system I was immediately intrigued! However, even tho that's why it caught my attention it kept my attention because of how much I adored these characters!

The magic system itself is really interesting. Everything is done with intention so while I love a good kink exploration for exploration sake add in the fact that they were building a spell just really fascinated me.

I love that we have some softness of building relationships, the importance of consent, how clearly marked potential triggers were, how sex positive it was, and it has a bit mystery.

Overall I had a blast with this
