There wasn't anything wrong with it, but I don't think I can get invested in sex scenes without knowing the characters more. I think I also prefer a character who is craving experiences vs. just trying things out/exploring.

Although I felt this leapt into the sex and the kinky a little too quickly, at the expense of establishing characters or plot, I thoroughly enjoyed the idea of a kink-based magic system that was so widely inclusive of genders, sexualities, and fetishes. For a story that so quickly and so deeply immersed poor/lucky Dominai in so many new experiences, I thought it did a fair job of exploring attraction, curiosity, consent, and aftercare.
The fantasy aspect (aside from the sex/kink) is a very traditional sort of high/epic fantasy, complete with all the tropes you'd expect, but Faust has some fun with them, making the story hers. It is the sex/kink that propels this from an average 3-star read to an enjoyable 4-star read, but there is a plot behind it, and I remain curious to see where it will lead.

Woah... woah. What are words? My heart rate has been dangerously high just the entire time I've been reading. I've been a high fantasy and magic fan all my life and I have never wanted to be a magic user more than right now. That was... something else.
If you're looking for something you've never read anything like and you love A LOT of spice then you should read this. Although the spice is a big part of the book the thought put into the magical process and the storyline fascinated me just as much and this is just a very well thought out and penned story. I just hope there's more.
