Really impactful and enjoyable read

I liked this book, it did a good job at differentiating itself from other books within its genre. The one issue I had with it was the black and white manor in which the author approached the “fixed” vs “growth” mindsets. In the book, it’s implied that you have either one or the other but for the most part, I think it varies depending on the situation. Other than that, it was worth the read… it was a little long, but still worth it.

This was a fine read and I did pick up some decent tips and ideas. That aside I didn't really feel one way or another about this book so I am going to let it sit at 3 stars.

This is a must-read for the content. The growth mindset is a game-changer for any leader, educator, parent, etc. and really for anyone who is trying to improve their own life.

If you haven't read it and feel like you already know a lot about growth mindset, it is still worth reading. I learned a lot about growth mindset vicariously through other education leaders who have read and are applying this. While reading it, I realized that I had some misconceptions and was missing some important elements.

My reason for the 4-star review is the repetitiveness, unnatural organization, and lack of flow. It also feels like it should just be an article or series of articles, but was forced together into a book. While it may not be the smoothest read, it is well worth the time.
