I can only say one thing - this series is mind blowing. If you want something really odd, really out there, stretching your imagination but deeply engrossing - then this is it. The first book just blew my mind and this one continues.

I was afraid this book might be cursed by the middle book syndrome but it was amazing. I had the good idea to start it during a 8hours train ride and did not put it down until it was finished.
The story is continuing and we see both Essun and Nassun coming into their powers and learn new things about the Stone Eaters and the world. I was so invested, everything was well plotted and I can't wait to read book 3.
