It's fine. It's not gripping and the mystery is solved pretty easily.

I wanted to love this. I liked it.

It was a bit hard to get into. There are a lot of characters that were hard to keep track of and get to know. So much so that I never felt emotionally invested in any of them.

The relationships between the people of Chicken Hill were an interesting dynamic. Fraught yet they depended on each other. They seemed to not want to acknowledge the ways the relied on each other.

There wasn't much plot and it rambled in the details a bit.
