I loved this book with all the fibres of my being. It's a slow burn, a grumpy x sunshine, an opposites attract and a stranger's to lovers story all masterfully rolled into one. I love Cade. I love Selena. I love Ruth and Becket and Amy.

Overall, this was a perfectly good romance, and I appreciated the emphasis on queer sex positivity. The romance itself was also sweet. My issue was that I never really got attached to either of the protagonists, or invested in the story. While I did like and would recommend Satisfaction Guaranteed, I liked Stetz-Waters’ other book, Worth the Wait, more and would suggest prioritizing that one. :)

While it was not a healthy relationship, it was consensual; there’s no sexual assault involved. Drug use: mainly by side characters, but described on page nonetheless. Death: occurs prior to the story, but is a central theme of the book.
