The book is not at all what I thought it would be based off the description. I am a Christian and the Bible references felt heavy handed and sometimes out of context. Also odd to have so much Christian influence but then focus on extramarital intimacy.

It seems like it’s striving for an allegory for Job but missed the mark. 

This book also just had some cognitive dissonance all around.
