Reggie and Delilah's Year of Falling - Elise Bryant - 4 Stars

I was really looking forward to reading this book because the concept really intrigued me!
Another plus point was that one of my favourite booktubers also really likes that book, so I had no doubt that I'll at least like it too.
Well, it was a 4 star read for me!

Delilah was all in all so relatable. Saying you're fine but not being fine at all or her love for Taylor Swift.
I just felt connected to be honest.

“And of course, there's my real music role model, Taylor Swift, who's written every single one of my favorite songs.” (p. 9)

I am interested in DND myself, so it is very cool to see that portrayed in a book! Never really saw that before to be honest.
Reggie and Delilah's first meeting was literally so cute - I was MELTING.

“This up-and-down with him is like a roller coaster, and at least right now… I want to get off.” (p. 91)
- That line SPOKE to me.

There are some characters, cough charlie cough, that I don't like. He's literally annoying and I've dealt with people like him before and I know how it feels. Ugh.

“And here I was being completely desperate for even the smallest crumbs of attention from Charlie that I’m never going to get”(p.94)

I LOVE that Delilah says the ATW Bridge shouldn't get interrupted because I am feeling the same. It really shouldn't.
For me, Reggie and Delilah really have this kind of cute holiday magic vibe for sure!
Its adorable to see these two together and get into their heads, seeing how both of them think.

It sometimes got a little frustrating for me, but also made me laugh in the next few pages afterwards, so it was sometimes a bit of a rollercoaster but I don't mind that.

And I absolutely love the friendship between these girls! I love it.
But Fun Gi? Yeah, well. Let's not talk about that.

“But theyll never hear the song if I keep only playing it for myself” (p.243)

But I like that Delilah knows her worth. Queen behaviour.

“And I may not know what comes next - I don’t know if this is a detour or the finish line. But I know it’s worth the risk.” (p.387)

I think it is a wonderful read but it wasn't a page turner for me so it took me quite a while to finish it even though I had fun while reading it.

So all in all, I can recommend!
