Utterly charming! Lighthearted without being fluffy or saccharine, and handles serious subjects without making the book dark or heavy.

Found myself smiling and smirking throughout. The characters and world felt solid and real, and the problem resolutions felt empowering. Less like a self-insert romance and more like watching your best friend fall in love, waiting for them to admit it, and getting swept up in the ride.

Love the side plots - the Johnny Whites, the printed out twitter screenshots, etc. Appreciate a story with main characters my age or older instead of teens or young adults, since Im starting to age out of that bracket! The audio narrators are lovely, and I love how the editing made phone calls sound tinny!

More personally, Leon's clipped sentences dropping articles and subjects, like "I"s and "the"s, are just how I speak in my head and end up editing for people, so I found the full commitment to them in-text delightful! His adherence to routine, and time needed to process feelings are also relatable, as is Tiffy's comment that not wearing colorful clothes "drains the life out" of her. Tiffy's ebullient rambling thoughts and conversation remind my of my younger, more energetic self.

I really enjoyed this book very much. In the beginning I was unsure because of how Leon's chapters were written but after I got used to them, I got sucked in! The growing relationship between Tiffy and Leon...yassss and the friendships! I also liked how Leon was the shy and anxious one and Tiffy was the outgoing one. Also Holly... Loved her. If I were to say one thing I didn't like it was parts of the Justin plot line. Some of it felt like it was there for dramatics purposes. I hope to write a full fledged review soon to explain but with how life is going idk.

TW: Stalking, Gas-lighting, emotional abuse.

This book was so fun! I loved that we got both perspectives and as an American, reading words like "flat" for apartment was enjoyable for me. Tiffy was such an enjoyable character and Leon's character felt just as real, even if he wasn't as colorful and interesting.

I loved the addition of Leon's brother and Tiffy building her own relationship with him, not for the sake of Leon, but because that's who she is. It really spoke to her character without being too pushy to the reader in selling her as a caring, trustworthy individual.

In real life, I would be so obsessed with Tiffy and Leon as a couple, so it made sense that everyone around them were totally rooting for their love story.
