Plot twist after plot twist and I sincerely could not predict what new thing would be revealed about Vincent and Oraya’s relationship.

The beginning does drag a bit, but the ending really picks up.

The sections going in reverse from what they were in the last book demonstrating the growth/ rebirth of Oraya and Raihn🥹 I love little details like that.

Again, I sincerely wish that there was more exploration of the Hiaj/ Rishan divide. It was briefly explained towards the ending but I need MORE

Looking forward to Mische’s book!

Re-read update: Oraya’s constant talking down on herself does become quite annoying especially after we find out
she’s Vincent’s actual biological daughter
that thing. The beginning part dragging still stands until about 40% into the book.

Usually, when I really like the first book, the second one doesn't usually meet my expectations. But this one topped it, damn it. The first few chapters were slow but when it gained momentum, it took me to a rollercoaster ride. I can't wait for Mische's story!

It was like a ball of yarn. Beautiful, blue and silver spun yarn with multiple strings, all rolled into one. So many stories woven into one tale, wonderfully written. I would have liked a bit more of Vale and Lilith, exploring their new bond in a volatile and vicious new situation.

I loved the emotional challenges Oraya had to work through, the struggle was heartfelt and even though much was unsaid between her and Raihn, it wasn't a frustration watching them finding a path to each other.

The additional snippets of history about Vincent and Oraya's lost family, added layers of richness to the overall story and I enjoyed it. A lot.

Looking forward to more awesome writing and spending more time in their realm 🍻❤️

Great duology! I liked the first book better but this one was still good and a great end to the story.
