I'm not mad I read this but it wasn't super memorable. The characters were cute. Emma's struggles with her alcoholism were interesting and well written. I almost cheered out loud when she left that toxic group--i don't know if it's a real branch of AA, but call me crazy, it's messed up to make someone take credit for all mishaps in their life even as a child, and also to hold every grievance and upset up to a probing light, forever. 
Anyways the romance wasn't even the biggest part of this book, nor was her dad's story, which hit close to home for me. It also wasn't funny at all, like the blurb said. I didn't enjoy the beginning where she was sexually harassed by an executive, in front of everyone, supported by HR. The way everyone in that company acted was bizarre.
