This book is my comfort read, I always find myself itching to return to the fanciful world of Anne each year. This book is probably my particular favorite in the series.

I really do think these books get better with each installment as the reader really gets to know and love all things Anne. Book three deals with Anne's formative years in college and I loved that timeless look at adjusting to college life and then readjusting to home life during vacations, etc. and learning to sort of combine those two lives in a comfortable way. This is also a book all about the Love Story - so a perfect match for anyone like me who has a tendency to scan each page for a certain guy's name. You will not be disappointed.
