I've been reading this series since the beginning. While I loved this installment in the series it just felt weird. I can't really explain why though. I liked that I got to see more of Gabriel's past and found out why his stepmother got to raise him instead of going to live with one of his parents families. I liked the growth of Gabriel and Sang's relationship.

Her Song in HIs Heart is my favorite novel in the Ghost Bird Series so far. This novel had such a complex storyline that made my heart shatter into a million pieces and then it took those pieces and molded them back together with love.

It was such a beautiful experience to be able to get a more solid backstory for Gabriel and Sang. Gabriel’s backstory made me understand his character and why he acts the way he does and I appreciate him so much more. Sang had the most fascinating and unique which was tragic yet beautiful.

This book kept surprising me at every page and I could never imagine what would happen next. This book will stick with me forever as it solidifies not only my love for the series but also the love the characters have for each other. They just have this pure love for each other that seeps into your veins and makes your heart flutter.

This book was just amazing and if I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The emotion, the conflict, the love just filled me with so much joy. I cannot wait for the next book in this series.

This story tied up a lot of loose ends and filled in character back stories. But definitely not my favorite in the series

This series is a guilty pleasure,  and it's not for everyone. I have fallen so in love with every character that I go through a grieving process at the end of every book. Watching Sang bloom amongst the others is such a beautiful thing. Another reviewer accused her of having the mentality of a 12 year old, which feels so far off base I laughed. Sang was forced to grow up faster than she should have and never got to experience childhood or have an example of a healthy relationship. She is learning,  she is growing, and that's the best we can ask. I think the author has done a wonderful job keeping these characters alive <3

Genuinely unsure why I am still reading this series but I’m 14 books and 7 novellas in so I guess I have to finish it.

The writing is very middle grade but the themes definitely are NOT. The protagonist Sang is 16 but has the maturity of a 12 year old and is even more naieve, to have her in a relationship with 9 men, including 2 who are legal adults is at times disturbing.
