I enjoyed the unfolding plot of the story. Each chapter felt like the peeling back of an onion with a little more information revealed with each layer of narration. It's not quite one I'd reread with the twist in mind (like I did for Daisy Darker) but still an enjoyable brain teaser of a plot to piece together reality.

“People always have choices, they just pretend not to in order to feel better about making bad ones.”

Wow okay. There is a lot to unpack here. The intro of this book INSTANTLY gripped me. Knowing the ending now (I won’t say too much) makes the beginning even better. The set up and payoff was amazing. I truly had no idea the relation between all these women at first and then as things started to unravel I was trying to predict what I thought would be the relation, but Alice Feeney succeeded in throwing a huge twist about Frankie. I really loved all the twists and turns in this book and ADORED the ending. Every character in this book was so interesting and very gray on if they were good or bad. The characters and the story were written so well.
