It was very sweet and there were some good lines but it felt very similar to a lot of other poetry I’ve read. I thought the audiobook would jump out at me more than it did

I feel bad for rating this so low because I think the concept and the take-home messages of this book is incredibly important. I just didnt find myself interested in the poems themselves, maybe its because this was so heavily focused on heartbreak and "love" than most other topics but alas. Perhaps skip over this book and wait for a tiktok slideshow that neatly plucks out all the best poems from this book , adds in paintings of a watercolour orange and overlays it with a Mitski song
