Not to be "I am uncomfortable when we are not about me," but the introduction very obviously excludes the B in LGBT, and the following stories don't solve that. Out of context, that wouldn't bother me much, but this was published for teens in 2009, which was exactly when I needed someone to validate bisexuality as an identity.

Otherwise, I really appreciated the breadth of racial, sexual, and gender identities. Aside from the visual chapters, I also liked how the prose stories played with format and style. Yet this was published over 10 years ago, and it does read like it. It's not distateful or insensitive, but narrative choices that were important then can read as passé now. My main issue was the length of most of the stories – I found myself bored more often than not.
