Well, that was short, sharp and brutal! It's not just a gore-fest, though, the central character is quite complex, really and there's a feeling that truth and lies (or what she perceives as truth and lies) get a bit blurred which adds some frisson of intrigue.
Reminded me a bit of the channel 4 series 'The End Of The Fucking World' in a good way.

I’m sure this is effective horror and succeeds at everything it sets out to do. But I’m practicing boundaries with myself so I dipped out as soon as the animal abuse came up!!
