I had put off reading this a long time. People kept telling me to read it, but I kept thinking it would be corny or something like some Christian artwork can be. I really liked this though. Only some corny parts in a book that was exciting and lovely and honest. Glad I put down my pride and read it. It was good for me. And it definitely moved me to worship too.

Wow what a book! Picked this up at a second hand bookstore on a whim and it is now one of my top memoirs ever! Carolyn is a witty, educated woman who is so open about her journey and questions of becoming a Christian. I loved every second of it. Definitely going to try to find her other books as well.

Beautifully written memoir...it read more like fiction! I look forward to reading more from this author.
This is mostly focused on the author's conversion story as she questions her beliefs attending Oxford.
The audiobook was very enjoyable.

I was surprised by this book (pun intended)! I thoroughly enjoyed the journey of the author to Oxford (a place I love to read about) and her journey to faith. She let us through the paths of questions, wrestling thoughts, and timely conversations. Lovely and thought provoking read!

This book made me want to read Scripture all night in a cathedral, memorize all the poetry, and eat all the confectionary delights of a proper English tea.
