Every time I find a Tessa Bailey backlist book, I either add it to my list or snatch it up immediately. When this one came up on a Chirp audiobook daily deal, I did just that.
Charlie and Ever are very similar in one way - neither does commitment. Ever learned from her mother that being part of the "mistress club" is the best way to live, although Ever refuses to date married men. She does, however, only commit for 30 days. One month. That's all they get before she moves on. That way she's important the whole time, doesn't risk falling in love and never becomes second best. Charlie is going to be a police lieutenant one day and is currently training to be one of the NYPD's finest. He knows he doesn't have time to give to a relationship, which is why a casual hookup with Ever is perfect. Except she's got news that makes it less than perfect and wants to end things. What happens when two anti relationship people want more from one another?!
This was a quick listen that had all the signature Tessa Bailey spice and humor. It jumped right off with Charlie and Ever hooking up, which is the whole premise but I typically like a little more build up. It was still a cute read.

Disorderly Conduct is about Ever and Charlie, neither of whom is interested in a relationship, but both of whom are very interested in the other. They start off by hooking up with each. A lot. Until Ever decides that she wants to try actually dating someone instead of just hooking up and takes Charlie from friends with benefits to just friends in favor of speed dating, online dating, and asking out guys at the laundromat.

Very good book.
A bit chliche but found the characters fun and loveable. I especially liked Charly’s development arc and his antics.
Could have done without the 3rd act breakup but the over the top reconciliation.
Excellent narrators.
