Hum I think this was written for a much younger audience. I think I would have enjoyed it at 16 yo but at my age I didn't.
I really couldn't finish it and I can't really rate it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read and review.
I liked this book way more than I thought I would! I already loved the premise of the story - a DNA match to a sibling that you didn't know existed. Most of the story takes place at a summer camp where the sisters make arrangements to meet in hopes of coming to the bottom of the story involving Savvy - the older sibling who was adopted. The whole book gave me Parent Trap vibes - and that is a good thing; I love that movie (the original most). I'm also a sucker for a good conclusion with a bit of a time jump. All in all - such a fun book. I binged it in a day and it was perfect!

Too much of “he touched my hand, and I flushed red” sort of teenagey romance stuff.
I’m unfortunately over this 😞

Somehow I liked Tweet Cute enough to fool myself into believing that I really should read another drama heavy teen romance. Big mistake!
Look. This book manages to somehow be dull and exhausting. There's a whole soap opera worth of increasingly ridiculous events and it's all exponentially more and more dramatic and still I couldn't care less about any of these people. I'm definitely not the target audience for this book, but it's still a sluggish bloated mess.

This book was really cute and funny! I don't really have that much else to say. Emma Lord became a new fave after [b:Tweet Cute|45045129|Tweet Cute|Emma Lord|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1558456354l/45045129._SY75_.jpg|66924806], and this one didn't disappoint. It's about this girl, Abby Day (like from New Girl!), who takes a DNA test and realizes that she has a secret sister. They meet at summer camp and navigate the trials that comes with having a new sister.
There's also romance, mischief, sadness, and humor, which makes for the perfect summer read. Lord definitely knows how to sprinkle in the perfect amount of pop culture references (the bit about the body count on Riverdale made me laugh so hard), and it's just enough to make this silly story feel so grounded in reality. However, I kind of wish I read this physically, or at least listened at a slower speed than 2x speed. I missed out on some stuff, which hindered my ability to fully understand the situations that certain characters were in. So that's why I'm rating it four stars, because I know that if I'd read it physically, it definitely would have been a four star read. But, if I was rating on reading experience alone, then it probably would've been three stars. I have no idea if any of that made sense.
I definitely recommend reading this book if you're looking for a sweet, but still somewhat chaotic, read to kick off your summer.

Cute, a little fun YA book between others, but nothing spectacular. I enjoyed the sister dynamic, but found the romance part lacking a bit.
I wouldn't recommend the physical book, but the audiobook is good, the narrator really brings it to life.
