Loved, loved, loved this book. Abby and Savvy were perfection, as well as their whole crew of friends. Especially Rufus!! I loved how the LGBT+ representation was there the whole time, without it needing to be a major plotline.
And the drama! Good lord the drama. This is the second book I've read all year that refers to the main character's life as a CW show. However, unlike Hemlock, I didn't mind it this time as it was true (in both cases), but unrushed and fleshed out.
I would like to have seen more of the reconciliation between the parents, but I am happy just knowing it all worked out for the characters. But moreso, I truly wanted to see a more nuanced discussion about adoption as it played such an integral part of the story of both a (secondary?) main character and the main love interest.
