Well damn this was fucking good. Like really good. And literally nothing like I expected. Why is this called Sin & Chocolate and advertised like a smutty bodice ripper fantasy? They don’t even have sex! It’s entirely well written very sweet found family with the beginnings of a very interesting romance. It’s a slow burn man, and I loved it.
Alexis and the kids were the highlight of this book for sure. They were so fun and so sweet. The kids were hilarious. And it’s a story about Greek gods and magical creatures! What more could I possibly want?

I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I did. I'm used to reading books with a big finale with the big bad and this didn't have one, which actually I found quite refreshing.

Why havent I read any of this before!
PNR is iffy for me. I rarely read it because I usually find that it is cheesy or too our there for the logical side of my brain. If they were like this, I would read it more. The snarkiness and wit of Alexis had me laughing several times. Two amazing kids had me laughing even harder. Add in magic, demigods, tarot, ghosts, a pink burberry purse and it was as if this book was made me for.
I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm hoping some steam because the chemistry between Kieran and Alexis was HOT.
