I liked this book. I felt like the characters were very vibrant and I looked forward to reading it. I thought that the whole world was really interesting and that the magic was cool. I liked the band of unlikely heroes that bounded together, and I love a side-plot romance.

I always think it's so interesting when an author chooses to give a POV to a character that eventually follows down a dark path, and I liked that aspect.

Overall, I really liked it and am looking forward to reading the next one!
