This was surprisingly deep followup to the first book and went a direction I didn't expect but really enjoyed. Really curious what else is in store.

I didn’t think it was possible, but I love this one more than the first!
I love how our characters have grown and changed over the course of the book.

This great novella explores what happens when Happy ever after is a myth, or rather in the case of our Scientist and Cthulhu monster couple, it is seen as a curse.
This author continues the Monster Girlfriend saga with gusto and very witty humour. Somehow along the pages, you may, like myself, find parallels in real life with this relationship and how working through the issues, the trials, and the judgements is worth doing. Because if anything, everyone is allowed to live happily ever after.

Loved the first one, this one just feels like word soup. I started it right after it released and have tried to press on a couple of times. Not for me.
