I thoroughly enjoyed this book- loved the characters, the unexpected main love interests, the concept of the story and the world building. It is a solid fantasy book and definitely up there with one of my favourites in terms of the story and writing style. My main issue with the book is the pacing- the main portion of the book is a bit slow- not slow enough to be boring- but slow. In comparison, the ending was way too rushed- the first 800 pages of this book built up to something that started and ended within the final 40 pages. So, for the underwhelming (but satisfying?) ending, I cannot give it 5 stars

Diria que hi ha hagut més coses que no m'han agradat, que coses que sí. I tot i així, l'he acabat. No entenc la fama d'aquest llibre: no hi veig la gràcia. Però suposo que no totes les novel·les tan de canviar la vida, a vegades hi ha prou amb seguir passant les pàgines.
