Tolkien is so so good at conversations with dragons.

Herlig historie fra Tolkien dette. Småmorsom bonde skremmer tilfeldigvis bort en drage, får et sverd og blir en helt. Har ingenting å gjøre med verken Hobbiten eller LotR, men like fengende å lytte til.

I thought this one was a lot of fun, though my boys didn't enjoy it quite as much as I expected, though they did like it. It was a fun family read.

If you want a short tale that is full of that Tolkien charm...here you go!

This is literally a bedtime story Tolkien told to his children of a farmer who unintentionally ends up on a dragon quest (much like a certain hobbit)
Still a lot of fun to read.

Sometimes simplicity can make a great experience.

Highly recommended if you enjoy fairy tales and myths.

A charming little tale! While the narrative didnt grab me, the typically Tolkien-esque intersections of myth, history and language are fascinating. Also, the illustrations steal the show
