I just love the fall away series and am already in love withe this spin off series!

I loved them both! Foe real enemies to real lovers!
Aro went through so much and she is only 18! I loved her and her growth throughout the book. I could relate to her feelings, what she did, why she did it, why she was cautious about hawke.

„My name is Aro Marquez' She says. 'Aro Teresa Marquez. And you may not remember me years from now and maybe no one will think of me and no one will want to, but I was fucking here“ ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Hawke was just a sweetheart! In the end i loved him for his honesty, his protectiveness, because aro needed him. The same way he needed aro! The way they found their sexuality, together, both vulnerable and caring?! 🫠
Plus the mystery with the carnival tower? Rivalry week? The rivals between falls, weton and st. xxx (don‘t remember the name…)? Oh this will be so good! The teaser in the end? I‘M HOOKED!!! Dylan kade and hunter? Uuuuh, the angst!

Though, the fall apart series started more angsty with the bully-trope. But it was still enemies to lovers which i love!

And the author note 😭😭😭😭 Penelope, thank you for these series! Thank you for your openness and for the strong female characters, who grow so much throughout these books, who fight for them selves, who find them selves before find their solemates! ♥️

Can‘t wait for the next books in this series!!! ♥️

Didn’t know what was going on in the beginning in regards to the small town rivalry, but started getting into it after I got the gist. Really loved reading about Aro and Hawke getting to trust each other, even though they started our enemies. Now that I think about it, I’m actually still confused about the rest of the plot.
