I just love everything about this world and these characters. I wish I could live in it.

I'm going to be real honest and say I was only here for Liwei, Wenzhi, and Xingyin.

Dawn was good, Twilight wasn't. Dusk, that was where all the good stuff was at and it was perfection. I love these three characters with my entire being. Sue Lynn Tan could rewrite this entire series only from Wenzhi's POV and I would still eat it up.

A lovely follow up to the duology. Sort of a smattering of odds n ends chapters that further expound on the Moon Goddess and the Sun Warrior books. Delightful.

This book is a compilation of prequel (retelling of Houyi and Chang'e legend), side stories that took place within the 2 book (from Liwei, Wenzhi, Shuxiao POV), and extended epilogue.
.
PREQUEL: I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would! I find Houyi and Chang'e to be much more sympathetic here. It felt very nostalgic to read this Chinese legend again
