Hidden Nature is a standalone novel written by Nora Roberts.

Sloan is a Department of Natural Resources officer and finds herself getting injured and almost losing her life. While recovering at her parent’s house she meets her new neighbors and decides to tackle a home renovation project with the oldest brother.

This is the first Nora Roberts book I have read in many years and I found it almost too detailed and boring. You know from the very beginning who the “bad guys” are and why they are committing the crimes they are, they are very disturbed people.

I miss the early works of Ms. Roberts where she was publishing series like Three Sisters Island, In The Garden, and The Key Trilogy
