Excellent, biting satire that might seem unnecessarily vulgar if not taken into historical context. While the premise of this essay is a bit outlandish, it is no less horrifying than how the British empire ruthlessly ruled the Irish people.

Quick read, funny and interesting!! Understanding the sarcasm in the essay is essential to its enjoyment. Also, it does describe women poorly (however this was written in 1720s so that isn’t much of a surprise)

Honestly, I would have never found out about this book if it weren't for school. I was glad, though. It is short, concise, and precise in dissing the English and being satirical. It is so well constructed I'm writing a paper on it. But be warned! It is not a book for the squeamish.
